STEM Workshop 2019 - Weeklong Project
Find here a link to an educational activity I developed for the students who attended the 2019 Winter Indigenous Students STEM Workshop at the University of Sydney. I had to privilege of mentoring them throughout the week, attending site visits with them and running activities.
One of which was the weeklong project which I reinvigorated from previous iterations to better reflect engineering and the processes an engineer has to take in order to design a solution. This project to the surprise of myself and the other mentors consumed the students over the course of the week, with them opting to scrap a movie night in order to continue working on the project.
